Bookings can be made on the Website 24/7, subject to the availability displayed. To make a booking, the Client completes the form with the required data: name, email, phone number, accommodation period, check-in date, check-out date, number of adults/children, accommodation type and any additional options.
After completing the form, the Client is redirected to the secure Stripe page to make full payment or an advance payment, according to the policy displayed for the selected period.
The booking is considered confirmed after:
- The successful transaction is confirmed by Stripe
- The Client receives a booking confirmation email at the address provided
The accommodation services contract is considered concluded at the moment the booking is confirmed by the Provider.
The Provider reserves the right to refuse a booking in the following situations, with notification to the Client and full refund of the amounts collected: lack of availability, incorrect or incomplete data provided by the Client, suspicion of fraud or objective reasons that make the provision of the service impossible.
4. Prices and payment methods
The prices displayed on the Website are expressed in Romanian lei (RON) and include VAT, according to the legislation in force. Prices are displayed per night or for the entire selected period and may vary depending on the season, occupancy level and availability.
Any additional costs, such as breakfast, parking, extra beds, pets, tourist promotion tax or other services, are communicated to the Client before completing the booking or, where applicable, are invoiced at check-out.
4.1. Payment through Stripe
Online payment is made through Stripe, a payment processor provided by Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, Ireland, according to PCI-DSS security standards.
Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards are accepted, as well as other payment methods supported by Stripe, such as Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link, depending on configuration.
Card details are entered directly into the Stripe form and are not accessible to or stored by the Provider. The transaction is encrypted and protected through 3D Secure authentication, according to PSD2.
If the payment is declined or fails, the booking is not confirmed. The Client may retry the payment or contact the Provider for assistance.
Stripe’s Privacy Policy is available here: https://stripe.com/privacy
4.2. Damage guarantee
At check-in, the Provider may request the authorization of an amount on the Client’s card as a guarantee for any damage caused to the accommodation unit or to the goods in its inventory. The authorized amount is not actually charged unless damage occurs and is automatically released at check-out if there is no damage. Details regarding the amount and method are communicated to the Client in advance.
4.3. Tourist promotion tax / local taxes
Where applicable, the tourist promotion tax or other local taxes established by the local public authority are added to the accommodation price and are paid either together with the booking or at check-in/check-out, according to local regulations.
4.4. Invoice
The Provider issues a tax invoice for each paid booking. The invoice is sent electronically to the email address provided or handed over at check-out. For invoicing to a legal entity, the Client must provide the company details, namely company name, tax identification number and address, at the time of booking.
5. Check-in, check-out and provision of services
5.1. Check-in / Check-out schedule
Check-in: starting from 15:00
Check-out: until 10:00
Check-in before the standard time or check-out after the standard time are possible only upon request, subject to availability, and may be subject to an additional charge.
5.2. Identity verification and accommodation form
At check-in, the Client and all accommodated persons are required to present a valid identity document: identity card, passport or residence permit. Identity data will be recorded in an arrival and departure notification form, according to MAI Order no. 35/2002 and the legislation regarding tourism activity.
Refusal to present the identity document or to provide the data necessary for registration makes check-in impossible, without refund of the amounts paid.
Details regarding the processing of this data are provided in the Privacy Policy, available on the Website.
5.3. Accommodation of minors
Minors may be accommodated only if accompanied by at least one adult who assumes responsibility for them. At check-in, the data of all accommodated persons, including minors, is recorded in the accommodation form.
5.4. Rules of conduct
The Client and guests undertake to comply with the internal rules of the accommodation unit, communicated at check-in or displayed in common areas, especially:
- Respecting quiet hours during the night
- No smoking indoors, where applicable
- Compliance with the pet policy
- Respecting the maximum number of persons allowed to occupy the accommodation unit
- No private events may be organized in the unit without the Provider’s prior written consent
Failure to comply with the rules of conduct, aggressive behavior or behavior causing damage may lead to termination of the accommodation without refund of the amounts paid and to the obligation to pay damages.
5.5. Damage and loss of goods
The Client is financially liable for any damage caused to the accommodation unit, furniture, facilities or goods of other guests, both through their own actions and through the actions of persons for whom they are responsible: guests, visitors or minors.
The amount of damage is determined by the Provider based on the replacement value of the damaged item and is withheld from the pre-authorized guarantee or, where applicable, requested from the Client for payment.
The Provider is not liable for valuables not entrusted for safekeeping under the conditions provided by art. 2,127 and the following articles of the Civil Code. We recommend using safes, where available, for valuables.
6. Changing and cancelling the booking
6.1. Changing the booking by the Client
The Client may request a change to the booking period, respectively the check-in date, check-out date or number of guests, by email at office@flowershousesibiu.ro or by phone at +40 771 332 088, at least 15 days before the check-in date.
The change is subject to the Provider’s availability and may involve price differences. If the new period is not available, the Client may choose another proposed option or cancel the booking.
6.2. Cancellation policy by the Client
The applicable cancellation policy is the following, subject to specific policies displayed for certain offers or special periods, such as holidays, peak season or non-refundable offers:
- Cancellation more than 15 days before the check-in date – full refund of the amounts paid.
- Cancellation between [Y] and [X] days before the check-in date – partial refund, for example 50% of the amount paid.
- Cancellation less than [Y] days before the check-in date – no refund.
- No-show, meaning failure to arrive on the check-in date without notice – no refund; the booking is considered used.
For special offers marked as “non-refundable” or “non-refundable booking”, the amounts paid are not refunded regardless of the time of cancellation.
Cancellation must be requested by email at office@flowershousesibiu.ro, mentioning the booking number. The refund is made using the same payment method used for the booking, through Stripe, within a maximum of 14 calendar days from receiving the cancellation request.
6.3. Early departure
If the Client leaves the accommodation unit before the confirmed check-out date, the amounts corresponding to unused nights are not refunded, regardless of the reason for early departure.
6.4. Cancellation of the booking by the Provider
In exceptional cases, such as force majeure, technical or structural unavailability of the unit or objective reasons that prevent the provision of services, the Provider may cancel a confirmed booking. In this case, the Client will be informed as soon as possible and will benefit, at their choice, from:
- Rescheduling the booking for another period mutually agreed upon
- Accommodation in a similar unit, if possible
- Full refund of the amounts paid
The Provider is not required to cover other costs or indirect damages related to the cancellation, such as transport costs or other bookings.
7. Right of withdrawal – exception for accommodation services
According to art. 16 letter l) of GEO no. 34/2014 regarding consumer rights in contracts concluded with professionals, the 14-day right of withdrawal provided for distance contracts does not apply to the provision of accommodation services, for a purpose other than residential, where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance.
Therefore, because the accommodation booking has a specific date or period of performance, the Consumer does not benefit from the 14-day right of withdrawal. Cancellation of the booking is governed exclusively by the cancellation policy in section 6.2.
8. Service conformity and complaints
The Provider undertakes to ensure the conformity of the accommodation services with the description on the Website and with the booking confirmation. The images and descriptions on the Website are indicative; small variations may exist, for example furniture, colors or layout, due to ongoing decoration, without affecting the essential characteristics of the service.
Any non-conformities noticed at check-in or during the stay must be reported immediately to the Provider, in order to allow remediation. Subsequent complaints must be sent within no more than 30 days from the check-out date by email to office@flowershousesibiu.ro.
The Provider will analyze the complaint and respond within a maximum of 30 days, proposing solutions such as compensation, price reduction or partial refund.
9. Client’s obligations
The Client undertakes:
- To provide correct, complete and up-to-date data when making the booking and at check-in
- To present the identity documents of all accommodated persons at check-in
- To respect the confirmed date and time for check-in/check-out
- To respect the capacity of the accommodation unit and the internal rules
- Not to use the Website for illegal or fraudulent purposes or in a way that may affect its operation
- To respect the intellectual property rights over the Website content
- To pay the price of the services and any additional taxes/costs
- To communicate as soon as possible any change or inability to attend the booking
- To return the accommodation unit in the condition in which it was received, subject to normal wear and tear
10. Provider’s liability
The Provider undertakes to ensure the conformity of the accommodation services with the description on the Website and with the booking confirmation.
The Provider is not liable for:
- Delays or impossibility of providing services caused by force majeure or unforeseeable events, such as natural disasters, armed conflicts, government restrictions, pandemics or interruptions to utility networks
- Technical errors or interruptions of the Website or Stripe service that cannot be attributed to the Provider’s fault
- Loss or damage to goods brought by the Client into the accommodation unit, except under the conditions of hotelkeeper liability provided by art. 2,127 and the following articles of the Civil Code
- Indirect damages, loss of profit or other consequential damages related to the use of the services
In all cases, the Provider’s total liability towards the Client is limited to the value of the confirmed booking, subject to the mandatory limits provided by law.
11. Intellectual property rights
The entire content of the Website – texts, images, graphics, logo, design, software, databases – is the property of the Provider or its partners and is protected by copyright and related rights legislation, including Law no. 8/1996, as well as trademark legislation.
Reproduction, distribution, modification, transmission or use in any way of the Website content, without the Provider’s prior written consent, is prohibited and may lead to civil, administrative or criminal liability, as applicable.
Users may view and use the Website content exclusively for personal, non-commercial purposes.
12. Personal data protection
The processing of Users’ and Clients’ personal data is carried out in accordance with the Privacy Policy, available on the Website, and with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Law no. 190/2018 and MAI Order no. 35/2002, for the accommodation form.
By making a booking, the Client confirms that they have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
13. Cookies
The Website uses cookies for the proper functioning of the platform, analytics and marketing. Full details regarding the types of cookies used, their purposes and how they can be managed are found in the Privacy Policy & Cookies, available on the Website.
14. Dispute resolution
Any disagreements between the Provider and the Client shall be resolved amicably. The Client may send complaints to the email address office@flowershousesibiu.ro.
If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, the Consumer has the following options:
- National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC): www.anpc.ro

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Romanian law.
15. Changes to the Terms and Conditions
The Provider reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version in force is always published on the Website, with the date of the latest update. Changes enter into force at the time of publication.
For bookings already confirmed, the Terms and Conditions valid at the time of booking shall apply.
16. Final provisions
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is declared null or unenforceable by a competent court, the remaining provisions shall remain valid.
The Provider’s failure to challenge any breach of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of the right to challenge future breaches.
